Enrolment
To be eligible for enrolment at Mt Gravatt Community Kindergarten your child must be placed on the relevant waiting list. We offer two kindergarten programs each week with a maximum of 22 children attending in each group. Children must turn four before 30 June of the year they will attend.
2024 Enrolments: offers for next year have been made and both groups are presently full. However some of these places are being reserved for children who may stay on to do two years of kindergarten. If any of these children go on to Prep in 2024 there may be further enrolment opportunities available towards the end of this year - please get in touch if you are still interested to remain on, or go on to the waiting list. We cannot guarantee vacancies however.
Enrolment offers are made as per the order of the waiting list, with offers made mid-year, the year prior to attendance, eg: enrolment offers for 2024 will begin end-May/early June 2023 and are made via email. Please make sure your email details are up-to-date and contact us if you would like to check.
The enrolment process can take many months, and you may not hear from us until later in the year. If you do receive an enrolment offer, we appreciate your prompt response, as there are many families eagerly awaiting opportunities to enrol at our kindergarten.

Waiting Lists
Your child's name can be placed on the waiting list by completing the online application form here. Please note there is a non-refundable fee of $30 to be paid in order to have a child placed on the waiting list. Payment can be made online (bank details on the waiting list form).
Waiting List Agreement
It is understood that the placing of the child’s name on the waiting list does not automatically guarantee that the child will be ultimately enrolled at the centre.
If for any reason your child may need special assistance, please notify the centre once you are aware, so that planning can occur for facilities or funding to best support the needs of your child.
