Enrolment
To be eligible for enrolment at Mt Gravatt Community Kindergarten your child must be placed on the relevant waiting list. We offer two kindergarten programs each week with a maximum of 22 children attending in each group. Children must turn four before 30 June of the year they will attend. Use the kindy calculator to help determine which year your child can attend.
2025 Enrolment Update
Both groups for 2025 are currently full. There can sometimes be changes between now and when kindy starts in January. Please do put your child's name on the 2025 waiting list in case of a late enrolment opportunity arising. The waiting list fee is not necessary to be paid for 2025.
Enrolment offers are made as per the order of the waiting list, with offers made mid-year, the year prior to attendance, eg: enrolment offers for 2025 will begin end-May/early June 2024 and are made via email. Please make sure your email details are up-to-date and contact us if you would like to check.
The enrolment process can take many months, and you may not hear from us until later in the year. If you do receive an enrolment offer, we appreciate your prompt response, as there are many families eagerly awaiting opportunities to enrol at our kindergarten.
'Free' Kindy - Mt Gravatt Community Kindergarten is pleased to offer 'free' kindy for 15 hours per week. Group B is a 15-hours-per-week program with no fees or charges; Group A is 18-hours-per week, with an Additional Hours Levy applied.
Waiting Lists
Your child's name can be placed on the waiting list by completing the online application form here. Please note there is a non-refundable fee of $30 to be paid in order to have a child placed on the waiting list. Payment can be made online (bank details on the waiting list form).
Waiting List Agreement
It is understood that the placing of the child’s name on the waiting list does not automatically guarantee that the child will be ultimately enrolled at the centre.
If for any reason your child may need special assistance, please notify the centre once you are aware, so that planning can occur for facilities or funding to best support the needs of your child.
